Mini -Seedcamp event in Belgrade was also marked by one meaningful and more than a pleasant introduction – to Natasa Djukanovic , a Director International Sales of Domain.Me . It will suffice to say that it was a beginning of one beautiful friendship. Natasa was immediately attracted to the concept of Althemy (Cyber City) and invited us to participate in the Startup Competition at the Spark.me conference.
Sparkme is a 2-day event that is being organized by Domain.Me in Budva, Montenegro since 2013
(company Domain.Me is in charge of Montenegro’s national domain .Me). The Conference, apart from Startup Competition, is well known for its well organized panels, workshops, keynotes and amazing networking opportunities, all located at the beautiful and luxurious venues in Budva.
Sparkme Keynote speakers in 2013 and 2014 on Spark.me included Alf Rehn, David Armano, Scott Berkun, Tony Conrad, Dr. Eli Opper, Dragana ?ermanovic, but also the representatives from companies like Edelman Digital, Microsoft Ventures, WordPress, Skype, TechCrunch, DropBox, about.me, Prezi, Rushmore.fm, hub:raum, Bellabeat, Eleven, LAUNCHub, Bal Labs and many more.
When we arrived in Budva, we were amazed by the hospitality and fantastic organization that Natasa did with her Domain.Me team. Everything was spotless and taken care of to the thinnest details -from interesting agenda over keynote speakers to the networking.
Participation at the Startup Competition was an amazing opportunity for us to present our startup to a wider oudience, hear valuable feedback from many reputable and experienced entrepreneurs and make some fantastic connections, such as the one with Dilyan Dimitrov, a founder of Eleven.
Even though we didn’t make it to the Startup Competition finale, the whole event was an amazing experience, the one we most fervently speak about , recommend to startups and keep in our dearest memories.
