Would it be possible for us to get the function to sort our galleries either by newest first, or in a custom order? I like that we can do that with images, but now all my newest albums are displaying on page 2 of my gallery.

I did notice that detail, when sites have uploaded enough albums to be listed on more than one page.
How exactly would you like for the sort ordering function/option to be displayed on the photo gallery page?
Is it in the photo settings page, for the default sorting order?
Can the site visitor change the order on the gallery page?

We will make it possible for you to sort albums in ascending/descending order in control panel settings of your site, just like the option that you now have for the photos. Hope that will help.

Custom ordering will also be enabled, but at a somewhat later date.
