I know what you mean man, I'm basically in the same boat. Too old PC to run any of these
I more or less exclusively use these kinds of clips to remind myself what game series I haven't played yet. So from this clip, for example, I got reminded of the first Mirror's Edge game, some of the earlier Far Cries and Dark Souls 1.
What I would sell my kidney for is Total War Warhammer... I really really REEEEALLY hope that that game is not too demanding for my potato computer or else I will cry my soul out

After somewhat dragging Entropia Universe plot, and my Civilisation [read: colonization ] skills I must have this.
Has it all with procedural mapping enviroment and countlessly generated drops, planets and systems. Scavenging modes and modular building, this can easily be my only title on rig.
The guys are planning to deliver Alpha keys in March. which is a season saver.
I've heard about this one, people are losing their shit about it. Personally it's not my cup of tea, I like my games more fast paced and action packed, but I can understand the hype.
As for me, I finished the bloodbowl campaign and now it's time to return to a long time favorite... Borderlands!
I've played through BL1 and BL2 a couple of times already but still haven't gotten around to playing the presequel. Borderlands is probably my favorite game franchise in the last decade so even if it's just more of the same it's going to be awesome, but the presequel seems like it might be even more crazy than the last ones so a good time will be had either way

Border aaah that sweeet taste of dust in your endlessly customised weaponry. True
My cup of tea is basicaly a test runs of new game mechanics.
From Isometrics to platforms, not to mention reinvented FPS. Thats why I set my eyes on this Tower!!!
It is supposed to be nonlinear. That' a great turn on for me. We'll see.

Hmmm... the trailer seems interesting but I'm still confused as to what makes it stand out from other FPS games. I just watched a gameplay clip of the first Consortium game and it looks terrible. The graphic engine is crappy, the whole game is played in a cramped flying ship and all of the fights I saw were in some Tron like virtual environment. Now, this new one looks waaaaay better and it seems like you have actual combat in actual real world environments but I still don't see anything that makes it "pop"
Thanks for reminding me of Borderlands, I'm currently tied up playing the newest season in Diablo but that is definitely going to be the next item on my list

I'm was too young to play doom so I don't share the hype of some old school gamers, but I'll be damned if I don't play this one. It looks sick as fuck!
Besides, I pretty much worship the ground Bethesda walks on so I don't need that much encouragement

I can't play games like this, they are too much for my poor old heart. Even though Doom is more of an action horror game and not nearly as scary as games like amnesia or dead space it's still too much for me. Hell, Half-Life was too scary for me and I barely got myself to finish it. When, instead of using a crowbar like normal people, you empty an entire cartridge of ammo whenever a facehugger jumps out at you, you know you are not built for horror games

Nah man, I really don't like android games and generally small casual games that don't have a serious story line and hours and hours of play time.
The problem with me and horror games is not that I'm scared of horror in general, on the contrary, I LOVE it. I practically devoured horror movies when I was a kid, they are what I grew up on. But being a silent observer of a scary flick, without any power (or need) to influence the story or do anything about it is worlds apart from being an active participant in a horror game where your reactions mean the difference between life and (virtual) death... that kind of pressure and stress I can't handle
