I also don't play mobile games a lot so I don't know firsthand but a friend of mine says this game is awesome.

In contrast to the first Blood Bowl, which just plopped you in the middle of the game with barely any explanation as to how it works and what are the rules, Blood Bowl 2 has a campaign mode that gets you acquainted with all the rules in a step by step/bite sized kind of way. I'm already at around 60% completion and I feel like I can play the actual tabletop game with little to no adjustment time.
The game has my warmest recommendations. Two thumbs up!

@Rathamon got my attention on Blood Bowl. Is it turned based as we mostly see on trailer or there is some other rules of engagement.
The only nerf is their pro-american footbal skins.

Nope, it's turn based through and through and from what my friends tell me it pretty much matches the tabletop game perfectly.
I agree about american football vs rugby in real life, the former is a pussified version of the latter, but when you are dealing with orcs, ogres and chaos warriors with mutated claws and tentacles for arms, having a little armor is kind of necessary
