Ok, I might be boring you with this by now, but I'm playing DS III these days, and when I logged into Steam yesterday, stats said ~40k people in game, and I think the traffic was low at that time... So... is anyone playing?
Or has played DS I, or DS II? Do you have some opinions on the series as a whole?

My story goes like this - I found myself playing Prepare to Die edition, and even though the first couple of hours I was dying like an idiot and was about to quit - I poked into the lore a bit and it made me stay in game. I fell in love with everything - including the insane difficulty (I decided to git gud meanwhile). The whole series inspired me in many ways, and I haven't been so consumed in a long while!! My favorite so far is the first part. The second one was not bad, but it was obviously weaker, and I love the third one better already, even though I just started playing it. It has more of a realistic feeling to it, like in DS I. How about your experience?
