Where I live, museums don't work and art is fucked (to put it mildly) ...
And now the government is ruining the part of the town where all the art studios and craft stores once where. They even forcefully evicted one of my countries Jazz legends from his studio and coffee...
Nobody goes to art shows anymore as it is considered hipster and snobby.

What is your take on art?
How is the situation in your country?

I will guess you live in Belgrade, I have heard a lot about that museum that has been closed for decades, such a shame... As an artist, I find that so painful
Vienna is sort of an art center on this side of Europe. Especially for modern and conceptual art, museums and galleries are pretty full and an invite to an art show opening is a hot ticket... But it is all elitist, rarely anyone understands what they are looking at and some artists make shit just to do something, be important and pick up the funds.....

My friends are screwing me up all the time that I was born in gallery.
For me it was allways a piece of tranquil time and thoughts.
Sometimes I was enjoying sitting completely alone infront some art work, for hours.
All I need is drink.

I think that is sometimes better for art to be elitist and hipster than not to have art at all....
I would trade a million clubs ans stores and shopping moles for one, great functioning museum/gallery!

What you say is that you dot have any gallery like that where you live?

I was all the time for sudden approach to solving many things. So one of that is this topic lets say.
were all thinking af gallery as it is something restricted to certain space or whatever.
What about open space and communal integration. hm?
Trancend galleries as we know it and pay attention to everything around .

My taste for art can be revised. Frankly I dont give a damn but I surely can share.
Mostly, people are pretending that concept art is something that you either love, approve or hate.
I belong to those who adore it.

I personally never understood concept art, maybe because I was raised by an artist in a traditional sense (my father is a painter and an art teacher at elementary school).
I do appreciate performance art a lot, it can be just mesmerizing...

From my pov art must not be detained.
Im not telling that thinking outside box is mandatory but something like that.
Visual stumulation is something I desire.
