Also, what's the deal with people writing two signs or a double sign?

I agree with Aaron about astrology being bullshit but I'll play along so that we can have info on who is what and thus know how to react when Mercury is in retrograde or heaven forbid Saturn enters the 7th house

Anyway, I've always hated my star signs because of all the cool signs out there I got stuck with Virgo in the standard zodiac and rabbit in the Chinese zodiac. Virgo just plain sucks and sure, rabbit is not as bad as pig or rat but next to signs like the dragon, tiger or snake it's pretty lame
My only cool redeeming sign is Scorpio as my secondary sign.
To answer your question Aaron, people are stating their secondary signs (we call them sub-signs in my country). They are based on your time of birth instead of your day of birth. I've never heard them mentioned in english so I had to look it up, apparently they are called rising signs or ascendants.

Aries here I don't know my rising sign.
In my country Aries is called The Ram and my mom would always tell me I'm stubborn as a ram so i guess it's kinda appropriate
