I would like to have money to do a full sleeve in full color. I do have an idea of what it would be like....
I would do all the cartoons that I ever loved in an Adventure Time style and theme. Everything from Hellsing to Beauty and the beast

That is a cool idea! Will every cartoon look like ti belongs to an Adventure Time universe? You need to find a right artist for that....And that is hard...
For example: I would like to tattoo my under-boob to look like the bottom part of a crystal chandelier. You know that one Queen Victoria gave as a gift to St. Petersburg ? But I want it to really glow with UV colors and done without outline, just white base and touches of color for light fracturing. Well, I started asking around for a tattoo artist that can do that and I got various replays: from getting 50% off because it will be the first thing like that for an artist (great if you ask me, I will probably go to that artist), over "sure kid, never done it but what can go wrong" to asking to see photo of my naked boobs so he can tell the price (WTF?! I am not retarded) .

What type is the question? A meaningfull one. Thats all i need and have. There is no way I could stamp myself with ridicilous or even formless pop-samples of tribals, letter of different or unknown cultures. I ahve no idea in the first place how I decided to have my restless spirit to put on skin.

Tattoo is a specific form of art, and what is meaningful to one person is a complete crap to another. I drew a tribal tattoo for a girl that wanted a similar tat to the one her father used to have, it may be considered a bad taste or a lack of imagination to have a tribal tat, but to her, that particular one was done on the anniversary of her father death and meant to her more than anything.
I also know a guy, full of tattoos, one of my best customers. I drew more than 30 designs for him. There is a catch, he is just a collector, hipster HC dude that has more money than he needs and collects beautiful, artistic tattoos on his skin, much like I collect fantasy books on my shelf. A person would think that those beautiful and unique tats have a meaning, but they have none what so ever...

One question for everybody: How did you choose your tattoo artist?
Since we started this topic, I can't stop thinking about my underboob tattoo and how much I want it But I can't find the right artist to do it... There must be a better way of finding the right person for the job...

The ones that came out from your own "flash"...sometimes it takes a lot to crystallize in your head,or in paper ,what is it that you really want.
Tribal should be used to enrich the motive,but in a smart way.My modest opinion

I think finding a good tattoo artist or at least the one that is right for you is a long and sometimes weir process. The person that will make a permanent mark on your skin should be somebody who will also give you a good kind of energy, understand your motif and is good with the style you are going for with your tattoo.
But this is a subject on is own, maybe we should open a new topic on that....
